Summary
Years ago, you and your brother Matthew had been incredibly close. Perhaps too close. But still, you looked up to him and he took care of you and you would've done whatever he said to (which oldest sister Christine found so irritating). It all came to a crashing halt when your rebellious teenager phase began a little late and seemingly out of nowhere; since then, you've been the black sheep and he's never actually forgiven you for pushing him away.
(Or, I watched this show and was immediately struck by the boundary-pushing relationship Matthew and Christine had, and I decided to throw a personification of my mental illness into the mix. If you think this is disturbing consider that the show itself was, like, halfway there already before I got here.)
