Lan Zhan looks like a fashion model straight out of a magazine.
Meanwhile, Wei Ying and her wardrobe consists of some hand-me-downs from her jie, free shirts from organizations and events in uni, and old clothes. She also prefers buying her clothes from thrift shops, and maybe some light online shopping sprees whenever there’s sales for her more specific taste clothes.

Summary
Wei Wuxian stared across the room; his eyes too intense for something that would look like a normal study session between roommates. Even as his fingers fidgeted with the corners of the pages, the book laid out on his lap, his attention was focused on something else.
The subject of his gaze was none other than Lan Wangji, which most of the university and people who come across him would consider perfect and could tear you down with a glare. He was more than an excellent specimen of a human being though; he was also the boy Wei Wuxian has adored, fawned helplessly over, probably since their first encounter.
Right now, though, he felt his mouth drool and teeth ache, watching how the light highlighted the shadows and smooth planes of Lan Wangji’s face. His hands as they type over his keyboard, focused and completely unaware of the thoughts invading Wei Wuxian’s head.

It’s not my place, he knows that.
He can hang out with whoever he likes, and there wouldn’t be a problem with it. Lan Wangji is an adult, he is perfectly capable of deciding for himself what he wants and where he wants to go. An autonomous being who makes rational decisions and has shown in multiple events that he is excellent at managing himself.
Bottom line is, he is his own person. He belongs to nobody.
However, sometimes Wei Wuxian has a hard time dealing with that. It’s not often he feels like this, he’s way better than this most of the time. He loves his own freedom, after all. He believes everyone has the right to do whatever they want, heck, sometimes he breaks rules for fun. When it comes to this though, when he’s thinking of his roommate, well…

Summary
This time, she’s Zoey.
It takes seventy-two years this time.
Tirelessly, the years stitch together. The sun rises and sets. The hollow spot inside of her waits. She has tried to make sense of these stubborn souls and the way they come back to her, how they always, without fail, manage to weave their way back through her chest, settling perfectly in the empty space within her that stays empty longer than it stays fulfilled. It must have something to do with the way the world shifted one day, how it broke apart entirely before being put back into place, starting to spin again as if it hadn’t come to a crashing halt. At some point, Zoey’s soul came loose. At some point, two more found a home.
The hollow spot inside of her chest waits, and then there’s a tug.
The entire world shifts, stopping on its axis again, and then it begins to careen forward. Dizzyingly fast and determined and loud. Then, in a voice that has remained just as stubborn as the soul who used it first, comes the command: “Find me.”
