“I'm locked out,” Kyoya says, mostly to himself.
“Sleep at mine,” Tamaki replies, nonchalant.
Kyoya looks back at the note. “I wouldn't want to impose.”
“You're not imposing, Kyoya,” Tamaki replies. “I think you're forgetting that we used to spend every second of spare time together. If anything, I owe you one for how many times I used to force myself over to your place.”
The words leave a sour taste in Kyoya’s mouth – even though they are true. ‘Used to.’ They used to spend a lot of time together; the implication being, of course, that Kyoya up and abandoned Tamaki by the most basic of definitions. The completely casual and detached way Tamaki states it, like a fact of life, makes Kyoya's heart wrench.
Kyoya pauses for a moment before accepting. “Okay,” he says.
