Daniil noted the slight tremor in Artemy’s voice. Artemy Burakh also lost many things in the chaos. He must also suffer from the nightmares. He must.
“They wanted me to die in the plague along with Aglaya and Block and yet, the more information they received from us, the more they urged us to cure the incurable. To preserve the town. Do you hear me? They will not leave a town of miracles alone. It may not be right away… but they will send someone.”

Summary
Daniil Dankovsky arrives in the Town-on-Gorkhon with the intention of defeating death. After he meets his untimely end, he's offered a chance to do just that, time and time again. But the rules of the game have changed, and Death never plays fair.
Still, Daniil isn't one to give up without a fight. Even if it means dying a hundred times over in this cursed town.
He'll defeat the Sand Pest and Death once and for all, no matter how many attempts it takes, or what he has to sacrifice to achieve it.

“I slept the whole afternoon, man, I’m not tired.” Doc pokes his ribs “You go to sleep.”
“With you staring at me like a paralysis demon?”
Doc immediately flops down to his bed and pulls his blanket all over himself, making Ren laugh. It’s quiet, and it doesn’t take long for Ren to fall asleep. Then, he starts to glow. Doc, who notices the sudden burst of golden light through his blanket, sits up in a rush and waits with a huge smile. The glowy silhouette surrounding Ren’s body lifts away from him, the shape twisting forms until it gently glides back down and solidifies, a big caramel wolf now standing directly on top of Ren. “The Red King of Dogwarts.” Martyn answers with a large smile, licking his fingers.
“Damn, for real?” Scott frowns, his spoon stopping half way up “That’s a big one!”
“I know! Something weird happened while I was choosing it-” he whispers, still fearing that the spell will break “Like, I was hearing something and the scroll changed out of nowhere, right in front of my eyes!”
“And that’s not normal? You can never know with you Watchers.”
“No. BigB didn’t even recognize it. I dunno, it’s a mystery.” Martyn mumbles, scraping his claw on his fang “But yeah, I’m going for the Red King.”
“Dogwarts, huh...” Scott hums, getting up from the table and heading towards his bookshelves “That’s on Hermitopia.” it doesn’t take long for him to find what he’s looking for, a rolled map “The most mysterious land of them all. You're in for a treat, Martyn.”
