“Mistletoe,” Luna said in her signature dreamy voice and pointed at the space above Draco’s and Hermione’s heads.
Slowly, her eyes trailed up, and, to her utter dismay, Luna was right. Right there, hovering above them, was a magical mistletoe; a new addition—of dubious origin—to the holiday decor.
“It will follow you around if you don’t kiss. It followed Terry and Hanna for a whole day until they did,” Luna graciously added while nodding.
Hermione’s swallow was audible, at least to her. She knew the story and had innocently laughed about it.
Well, now that it was happening to her, she failed to see the humour in the situation.
