“Does anyone have any other ideas?” Ryland looked around the strategy room filled with the world’s top scientists and researchers, incredulous.
He was greeted with silence.
“Nothing? Really?” Ryland looked down at his notepad featuring a doodle of an astrophage, absentmindedly tapping at it with his pen. Oh. Duh. “What about poking them with a stick? Have you guys tried that?”
Project Hailstorm promised to save the world from eternal winter. And it will, but not yet. In the meantime, Courtland, Ryland, and Claire must find their way from San Francisco to Los Angeles, where Colt lived, to escape the super-winter.
