    Summary

    Everyone who ever saw his abhorrent face ran away from him. Everyone but her. She smiled and caressed him, she showed him the love and acceptance he so gravely desired and ached for. She was everything he didn't know he wanted and he fell for her unconditionally. Both are burdened by their dark pasts but, maybe, deciding to take a detour through a dark alley by Notre Dame was the first step towards their salvation.
