Summary
When Shakky was pregnant with Mihawk, she and Rayleigh made a tough decision. Shakky would retire from her life as a pirate to raise their son out of sight so he could have the most normal childhood possible without the Marine or pirates chasing him. But when he was 10, Ray and Shakky made another decision: since Mihawk was starting to draw attention to him for his swordsmanship, he had to go and live with his father on the Oro Jackson. Everything gets worse when Rayleigh realizes too late that a pirate crew abducted his son to take part in a bizarre ritual. Nevertheless, Mihawk will do anything to survive and prove his worth while Rayleigh won't rest until his son is found and safe.

Summary
Mihawk knew from the moment he saw Shanks Akagami walk in on his first day at the office wearing flip-flops and swaggering in cargo shorts, that the charismatic redhead would prove to be nothing but trouble. Which is a ridiculous thing to say, because it’s not like the Sun can ever not be free. You cannot chain a flame to the wall, or lock a storm in a cage, or pin the tide to the shore, and you can’t stop a God from being a King if that is what he wants.
