The sorcerer frowns. Sukuna can't see anything more specific on his expression because of his fucked up sight, but he doesn't doubt it's something grandiose. If he had to guess, Megumi looks like the muscles in his face dried up like stale passionfruit.
"You have terrible taste for jokes."
"You're right," Sukuna admits, "But I'm not joking."

Caught in a new life of political intrigue, opportunities, and threats alike, Megumi must learn to navigate the upper echelons of society, as well as his growing relationship with the Ryoumen heir.

Megumi is stuck in a jar.
In all honesty, it's not as bad as it sounds. It isn't a bad jar, and he isn't entirely stuck in the jar either. Just his head is caught around the rim of a glass jam jar and he’s been walking around for god knows how long, trying to shake the jar off. His neck is chafed under his fur, and his ears are starting to ache, and he’s just a little bit tired of smelling strawberry jam. His nostrils are permanently clogged by the smell. This is how he dies, he thinks. Death by sweet strawberry perfume due to unfortunate jar situations.

Sorcerers came and went rarely, even more rare would they stop and pay him a visit. He presumes their plan would be, if viable, to destroy him once he's consumed all remaining fingers. Fushiguro Megumi, I am not the merciful or just god you hoped I would be when you prostrated yourself before me — but for a mortal as special as you, a being I have not met in my many years upon this earth, I will protect all that you love and utterly destroy all that you despise.”
“Even if it goes against your feelings and intentions?” Megumi somehow finds the courage to ask.
Sukuna smiles, however, and laughs as he replies, “Why would they, when your feelings and intentions are of foremost importance to me?”
