Summary
Shane Hollander didn’t have many secrets. Secrets were just lies and lies were hard. They required a constant and exhausting amount of maintenance. Secrets had to be selfishly hidden and mercilessly protected. They required a magician’s uncanny talent to smile and laugh, pulling the audience’s attention to the left hand while simultaneously warping reality with the right.
No matter how he looked at it, Shane knew the truth. A secret was a lie, and Shane Hollander could not lie.
Shane’s mind, riddled with anxiety and a compulsive need for facts, plans, plays, just couldn’t hold all the frayed and sharp edges of a secret (a lie) and not fatally cut himself.
aka. Shane’s other secret was this. He had a hero and that hero was Scott Hunter.

Chapter 3: The third time the Winter Soldier meets Tony, the young man is sixteen-year-old, and struggling with a lot of uncomfortable things, the Winter Soldier and his tidings are not helping.
