Summary
Nico Di Angelo is the most prolific bounty hunter to have ever lived. But he's taken a bounty that may just be his most challenging one yet; a search for an anonymous train robber, one who managed to pull off a train robbery with no witnesses, no evidence left behind, and an intimate knowledge of the train itself.
The bounty takes him to the little town of Idlerise, where he enlists the help of an employee at a local boarding house, Will Solace, to try and track down the unknown individual. But the chase for this criminal leads Nico down a dangerous path, one that challenges his bounty-hunting skills and very personhood. Will he be able to identify the robber and bring him to justice?

Nico just sighs, sparing Will a glance before returning his attention to the stars.
“Surviving.”
“I think surviving is worth it,” Will decides, “Long as you get to live sometime.”--------
The world has ended. Civilization is in ruin and society has ceased to exist. Nico believed there was no hope for him and the seven— death is unavoidable, especially when the dead walk among the living and the remaining “humans” are either out to steal your supplies or kill you in cold blood. There is no living anymore— only surviving, and even that is a luxury.
Until, he’s forced to learn how to live after meeting a blonde with a very different outlook on life after the apocalypse.
