Ms. Gray clicks the remote in her hand and a new picture flashes. A woman.
“—is our best chance at bringing him out of hiding. Our mark. His sister.”
A striking woman— piercing green eyes, long dark hair, a jawline people would pay plastic surgeons top dollar for— the kind of beauty anyone would envy.
“She’ll be attending a charity Gala tonight in the city—” Ms. Gray stares pointedly at Kara— “And that is where you come in, Agent Zor-El. You’ll go to the Gala and make contact with our mark.”

After using her powers to save her sister from a deadly plane crash, Kara Danvers is recruited by the FBI to go undercover and take down a lethal mass arms dealer, Lex Luthor. But to get to Lex, Kara has to befriend and gain the trust of his sister, Lena. The closer Kara and Lena become, the more Kara questions her mission.

The universe has been rewritten for a few months now, and it’s not easier living in this one than it was in the previous. Lex erased every good thing Lena had done and built as CEO of the family company, and Kara is still a filthy liar who broke Lena’s heart. Not that she ever thinks about Kara anymore, Lena has moved on. Or she will…soon.
Every resolve and wall Lena is hiding behind are severely shaken when Lena finds herself showing Kara some compassion. After various dreams warning about something dangerous looming over National City, a mysterious woman appears from the sky offering help against the incoming danger with only one condition: speaking with Lena Luthor in private.
As this stranger and Lena seem to grow close, jealoussy bubbles in Kara as she starts to question what she's been avoiding for so long; her feelings for Lena.
This is placed after the end of the series and before the Batwoman comic.
