Notes: This story is fifth in my Journey of the Lonely Whale series, which covers the period between Immortality and CSI: Vegas. It follows Day One, Day Five, Evolution (Month 12) and All at Sea. We're seven years in and it's late-2021. The previous story was a series of intentionally sentimental and fluffy one-shots on the boat. I hope this will be a bit different again, and as the title suggests, it leads right into CSI: Vegas Episode 1 (Legacy). The final chapter is my favourite. I have enjoyed writing this series so much! Thank you to all those who have enjoyed reading and reviewed.
