They all contained explosive fights, venomous words, and undying bitterness. A fire she had fed with ire and resentment, at last unleashed.
They were nothing like what she had enabled just now. Her nose was red, and cold. Her boots were wet. Her heart burned with the desire to understand. For a resolution. To be good enough to know Michaela, to be worthy enough to speak the language of her perfectly guarded heart, and even more impassable mind.

This is my take on what Season 5 might look like. Feeling excited that she’s at college and has a freedom she’s always longed for, Francesca is buzzing when she goes back to her apartment. For her, it was the perfect night. It isn’t until the next day when she sees Michaela on campus and Michaela seems confused about why Francesca is approaching her as if they shared something special that Francesca starts to realize that college life and lesbian life is more complicated than she could have ever anticipated.
