Honestly, Johnny had it all. A prosperous firm, a stable family relationship (for the most part), a close group of friends, a best friend he would kill for, and a stubborn son he loved more than anything. So what if no mate was in the picture? Less drama for sure, he thought. His peace is disrupted when his mother announces a visit… with the perfect candidate in tow. So what can he do, if not ask his so-called platonic soulmate for help?
Doyoung, meanwhile, knows he should have never given in and gone to that party years ago. If he hadn’t, he wouldn’t have met Johnny Suh, and he definitely wouldn’t be sitting beside him now, in a three Michelin-star restaurant, facing his family, especially his mother, who hasn’t stopped scrutinizing him. If time travel existed, Doyoung would go back and stop himself from helping that random alpha in a bathroom.
Now, with his heart on the line, he should be careful. Or maybe it’s already too late.Or maybe Johnny just wanted to prove to his mom that he was settled.
