    Those feelings dictated much for her. Ruled over, kept her gift locked behind hesitating hands, stowed herself away for fear of stroking a fire too hot to put out. And putting out those violent parts of her, the ones that did not bend to any semblance of self-control, that seemed important at the time. She kept her hands to herself, directed and exerted that need for violence on her own body, own skin, left her own scars. 

    Seemingly until now, because as she’s crashing against Sayeon, she doesn’t quite feel that burn anymore.
