Lohen did not move, just silently stared, so Varka turned his back. It was a risk, a foolish one, perhaps. Every nerve in his body knew it. The space between his shoulder blades prickled, waiting for the kiss of metal, for that impossibly clean edge to find its mark.

"With how much you love your Death After Noon, that isn't believable in the slightest," Diluc said.
Kaeya laughed, "Oh, please, Master Diluc. I was being conversational."
It was only during times like these that Varka was more than happy to abuse his Grand Master duties when ordering Lohen around; it always kept that kid out of trouble. Now, he'll just have to invite everyone for a drink, now that Illuga is in the land of Dandelion Wine.
