   Shane raises up onto his elbow and looks, hard, at this man he loves. “You could be. Canadian, that is. If you wanted to.”

   Ilya’s gaze back is searching. Shane doesn’t know what he’s looking for, but then Ilya says, “Loyalty is important in hockey.”
