Vi’s only answer is that same unmoving, self-assured smirk as she lifts the glass to her lips, finishing her cocktail. “I can show you, if you’d like.”
Caitlyn isn’t entirely sure she’s talking about the sport anymore. Vi’s blue eyes are electric as they drink her in. Caitlyn feels her cheeks heat, unused to the attention from someone so... like Vi. It warms her skin, turning it clammy as she fights not to squirm, desperate to vocalize her frustration. “Why did you agree to this interview if only to dodge everything?”
Vi chuckles deep in her chest. “Honestly? Because you’re hot, cupcake.”
In the underground world of monster fights, Vi is undefeated. Caitlyn intends to find out why.

Summary
She pauses, leaning down to press a kiss to Caitlyn’s neck, just below the small, dark curls at the edge of her hairline. It’s gentle and innocent enough, but she hears the way Caitlyn’s breath catches in her throat, and sees her nervous fingers still against her thigh.
Vi straightens up, letting amusement sparkle in her voice this time. “Try a little patience, Cupcake. You never know, you might enjoy it.”
Caitlyn snorts. “That’s rich, coming from you.”
Vi and Caitlyn share a moment while stitching up wounds.

Summary
The pressure’s starting on her lungs, and she knows that if she opens her mouth to answer, it’ll seal her fate. It’s all she can do to nod, wonder painted across her face and hope in her heart. The fear is there, too, clawing at the edges of her consciousness, but if she’s to die here in the warmth of this siren… well, it’s a beautiful way to go out, in any case.
“All I need’s a kiss,” the siren says, firelight in her eyes dropping to Beidou’s mouth.
She’s sure in another life she might’ve questioned the exchange, the weight of the deal, but in this one, the clock ticks fiercely onward. Beidou accepts with a press of her lips against a silky, warm mouth, letting the siren breathe life into her anew.
On a stormy night, a sailor nearly drowns at sea. An enchanting mermaid saves her life, tying them together.

A neon light flickers to life in Venti’s head, and his eyes practically bug out of his skull. “Are you here to walk me home?”
Guardian scuffs his boot against the pavement, shrugging. “It’s not a big deal.”
“Mhmm,” Venti nods, quicker than he means to.
It is, in fact, a very big deal. A very strange, impossibly big deal that Venti is having trouble believing is real, right now. He kind of wants to pinch himself to make sure, but he also doesn’t want to look like a dork in front of the superhero that wants to walk him home.

By the time she’s sliding the zipper home at her throat and slipping her cowl over her head, her comm buzzes to life with the distinct hum of an open line. “O? We’ve got a serious problem.”
“Do you know what direction they’re coming from?”
Pride flares warmly in her chest and a smile stretches across her lips as Steph grapples skyward, up the rest of the fire escape. No question of why she was already at the scene despite promising she’d take the night off, or a scolding about doing the very opposite. Nothing but trust across an open line.
