Summary
It's nothing like the first time, nothing like the bed in the estate. Her bed, she supposes, though it still doesn't feel like hers two, three years on. Three. One, two, three years since Fenris walked through her door to thank her, three years since she kissed him and felt him kiss her back and felt every soft part of him with her hands and her lips working away the hard spiked shell that's built up over him.
---
Hawke counts, and counts again.

Summary
Alistair wants nothing more than to see the line of her back, or maybe see how it'd arch up from a perfect line beneath him, and he wishes she'd just jab him with her elbow again to interrupt the tightening in his groin. "My mistake," he says. "I'll be oh so grateful for this dirt now. Just like a featherbed."
Marta's lip quirks in a tired smile. "Soft as every human."
He feels rather the opposite of soft right now, but he can't very well argue that particular point. "Right. Best set the tents."
--
Alistair jerks off. That's it. That's the fic.

Summary
Rolan’s reading was again interrupted by Brid flinging herself onto the couch next to him and shoving her hands between his face and his book. There on her palms sat a perfectly smooth rock, and a new-looking piece of linen. Rolan picked up the linen, and gave an impressed hum when he could find no flaws.
“I beg your pardon? ” Brid said, indignant at Rolan’s coolness. “Congratulate me, tell me how clever I am! Give me something! ”
Rolan looked over at her, and as his brain flicked through different things he could say—to annoy her, or frustrate her, or make her laugh—he noticed how close they were, and an idle thought occurred to him. If Brid were looking to be given something, how easy it would be, no effort at all, really, to close the distance between them and give her a kiss.
After an innocent spellbook theft in the Grove, Rolan and Brid forge a friendship along the road to Baldur's Gate--despite their best efforts to keep each other at arm's length. As they grow close, Rolan digs into the past she tries to forget, and discovers the primal power she once abandoned.

Summary
“I’m afraid there’s no end to the work, but the purpose of the work is to give answers to the living, and voice to the dead.”
Voice to the dead. Now there’s a thought. Not a pleasant one, per se, but certainly striking. Rook can’t, off the top of her head, remember how many people she’s killed, but she can’t imagine any one of them would have anything nice to say about her.
Lucia "Rook" de Riva kills for a living, and she's got a contract: find the guy who killed Varric Tethras, and kill him right back. Emmrich Volkarin is a medical examiner, and an advocate for the dead. As Rook tries to finish her job, she makes more work for him.
Their paths keep crossing, but sooner or later they're going to collide.

Summary
I broke down El'vhen into component parts and replaced the elided apostrophes. This is still fan fic, because despite having a linguistics minor, I could be very wrong. But if I'm not too far off, it should give us the tools to make new words.
It's mostly all translated from canon sources, Katiebour's Cypher, and the wiki.
This dictionary, as much as I adore it & will continue working on it, is an absolute time sink. I could put more time into it if I had supporters for my knowledge & the time I use for it. My patreon is here: https://www.patreon.com/kaijarayne even $1 a month is more than I had before.
I am violently against AI. Do NOT put ANY of my work into ANY AI system, including Deep-L. I'm happy to provide phrases and translations if you ask.

kaija.rayneI can't do anything about scrapers. But willfully putting my years of work on this project into any variety of AI is absolutely offensive.
AI is *awful*. Putting someone else’s work into one is not only copyright violation, it means you should take a good, hard look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what are you doing?
