Summary
Nobody expects to fall through somebody else’s living room ceiling. Jena certainly hadn’t expected to tumble through Elminster’s nearly ten-years ago. Something or someone wanted to steal Jena away from her life on Earth, but to what purpose she had yet to figure out. Under most circumstances, one would think that the most jarring experience of Jena's life would have been waking up on a Nautiloid Ship with a wriggler in her skull. Unfortunately, kidnapping by Mind Flayers was one of an ever growing list of strange and unfortunate events conspiring to kill Jena, and now that she was out from under Elminster’s watchful eye, somehow ceremorphosis was not at the top of her priorities.

I try to avoid directly retelling too many moments in the game, but occasionally fall into the trap of rewriting some canon scenes. Dual perspective because now my Tav has some issues to overcome! In which a reluctant semi-si/oc purposely avoids heroes, is content to have an average life, but somehow ends up adopting a few broken strays.

Summary
Jon doesn’t want to trust his coworkers. He can’t. But after being cursed by a Leitner to obey any command given to him, he might have to.
[I got too busy to finish turning my outline into prose, so the last two chapters are bullet point not!fic. My outlines are casual but fairly detailed; they make for a different reading experience than finished prose, of course, but not an unenjoyable one in my opinion. They successfully finish telling the story I set out to tell, so I consider this fic complete.]
