The first time Tengen noticed it, he was moving the coffee table closer to the couch so he could lay his feet more comfortably on it.
Kyoujurou was getting ready in the kitchen and had stepped around the tiny island to ask Tengen a question when he tripped over one of Tengen’s discarded socks. That in itself wouldn’t have been much cause for concern, but Tengen was convinced Kyoujurou was part cat with his freakish sense of balance.
