Summary
Claire Collins is going through a “rough patch.” She wouldn’t call it that since it’s lasted for eight years. She finds no meaning in her life. Sure, there’s some good days every now and then, but she can’t shake the feeling that she’d be better off dead.
Lay Smith’s been doing alright ever since she joined up with her uncle’s business. Money’s steady and work is easy. Recently, she’s been finding that she’s losing customers.
One final thing pushes Claire off the edge at work and causes her to yell at a customer, she loses her job and is forced to be caged in her apartment with her suffocating thoughts. Finally, she decides. She’ll take her life. Of course, before doing that, there’s always been something she’d wanted to try. Drugs.
Claire applies for a new job and she sets out on a search for a drug dealer to supply her with a taste of drugs before she goes out. Sounds like a fitting way to end her life to her.
Lay is surprised when she gets a DM on the second day of setting up her drug dealing Instagram account. She wasn’t expecting it to work so easily, but she’s not complaining. Though, she can’t help but be a little shocked when she sees the page of the girl who DMed her. Why would she need drugs?- Language:
