Summary
Phainon’s voice was soft, and gentle. He was always soft spoken and he never put pressure into his words. Mydei loved that about him, that Phainon knew when to simply let him be. Mydei didn’t speak, he didn’t say a word, he didn’t want to. All he did was inch closer to Phainon and lay his head onto Phainon’s shoulder, closing his eyes. Mydei felt his entire body melt, all of the tension in his mind just completely vanished. Phainon didn’t move Mydei, he simply put his head against the others and softly grabbed the man’s hand. Phainon’s hard callused thumb rubbed gentle circles onto Mydei’s hand, it was soothing. “Phainon.” Mydei softly choked out, he was on the verge of tears, for some reason he wanted to proclaim every feeling he had for Phainon in an instant. Mydei didn’t, he thought about Kremnos, they wouldn’t allow that.
“Yes, Mydei?” Phainon said, slightly surprised that Mydei used his name for once.
“I don’t want to sleep alone tonight.” He softly muttered.
“You can sleep in my chambers if you’d like Mydeimos.” Phainon offered, Mydei nodded. Phainon softly smiled.
