"Burr." Alex's voice made Burr freeze, heart pounding as he tried to remain calm.
Burr cleared his throat. "Alexander."
"If I'm not mistaken," Alex began after a moment, "that's your erection pressing against my thigh, is it not?"
"You'll have to forgive me," Burr said, voice shaky, "I'm…not sure I follow."Alex grabbed his crotch and Burr nearly jumped out of his skin.
"This thing," Alex clarified. "Was it not pressing against my thigh?"

While Light’s hunger for liberation and separation persists, L develops another type of hunger, an obsession he claims has just to do with his hyperfixation on the case. There definitely weren’t any other reasons for his frequent longing glances and his insistence on proximity to Light… Right?
Misa’s cluelessness and irritation regarding the handcuffs only pushes the two men to a dinner reservation together… as well as a hotel room together.

Miles was under no illusion that his feelings were reciprocated. There was a limit to how much he was willing to indulge his wildest fantasies, and that Phoenix might one day confess an undying love, or – heaven forbid – kiss him was so far beyond the realm of possibility that it was laughable. It was so improbable that he wouldn’t allow himself to even entertain the thought, lest his runaway heart got the wrong idea.
(Not that it stopped it some days. Sometimes Miles wished he could open up his ribcage and strangle his stupid heart until it behaved itself.)
That was fine. Miles would be satisfied if they stayed nothing more than friends. That was more than what he could ask for, more than what he deserved. It would be enough.
The problem was, every now and again, Phoenix did something that got his hopes up.
Miles Edgeworth’s relationship with Phoenix Wright was so complicated that it took them a decade to sort it out. Or: on Miles and Phoenix through the years.
