Summary
It had been almost a year since Baltimore, since his father had finally caught up to him, and since his life became his own. He was doing well, for the most part. He was vice-captain of the Foxes now, and felt as though he finally belonged somewhere permanent, but there were times when the horrors he endured would catch up to him. Whether it was in sleep, where his memories manifested as vivid nightmares that stole his breath, or when he stared too long at his brutalized appearance and felt his father's gaze on him, he would run.
