Peter straightened, his body physically reacting to what Ned had just said. His breath got caught in his throat, in what was probably an overdramatic reaction but Peter didn’t care. “What, no!” he spluttered, lowering his voice once he noticed he had reached the same volume of Ned. “Dude, he’s just going to be watching me for the summer.”
Ned raised an eyebrow. “That’s basically being a dad, dude.”

“Hello, hello,” Stark greeted, lowering his sunglasses to wink at some of the Decathlon students. “Yes, I know, it’s me. Don’t piss yourselves.” He placed the coffee cup on a nearby lab counter, ignoring the intern that was standing behind it, looking starstruck. “I’m just here for my daily rounds. Now, how is my favourite lab?”
An intern raised their hand slowly, her gaze falling to the ground as though she was trying to avoid looking at the billionaire. “Yes!” Tony exclaimed, pointing towards the intern. “Girl in the- uh, lab coat. I’m sorry, I forgot your name. What is it?”
“Mr Stark,” the intern spoke, her voice noticeably shaking as she finally raised her eyeline. “Is something wrong? You, uh.” She paused. “You never come here?”

The relationship between us, that had been built upon the foundation of our blood and strengthened through our experiences of childhood, had begun to dwindle as we reached our teenage years. The Training Academy demanded more of our time, meaning we often didn’t interact for days at a time, and our father’s clear favoritism created a divide between us. And yet Dorian’s care never stopped blooming, even when mine began to wilt.
His arms engulfed me, and I clung back, reminiscing on the days when nothing could tear the bond between us. His body was warm against my gelid skin, as he had presumably spent the morning within the cozy confines of our cottage, rather than out in the windy conditions of the sea. He smelt heavily of fish, reminding me of our childhood, when it was rare to find the two of us separated.
“You don’t have to go, you know,” he whispered, his voice low and vulnerable. “If you’re having second thoughts. I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t.”

Summary
Tony Stark goes on a mission with the Avengers to infiltrate a discovered HYDRA base. He has orders to kill everyone involved with the operation and he plans to follow those...until he comes across a 16 year old kid with curly brown hair and brown eyes who has spent the last 9 years as HYDRA's prisoner. Instead, Tony helps him escape and they slowly grow closer. But Peter can't truly escape his past; it seems to follow him wherever he goes and put the people he cares about in danger.

Summary
Happy hurries into the penthouse and finds Tony, Pepper, and Peter standing in the kitchen, Tony aiming his repulser at Peter. “Tony! What are you doing?”
"Intruder. Had my back turned making coffee and I turned around and he was just sitting there."
“That’s not an intruder, it’s Peter. What’s wrong with you? Lower that thing before somebody gets hurt.”
“I’ve never seen this kid before. How'd he slip past security?"
"This is Peter Parker Stark, your son. You adopted him."
“I adopted some random kid?”
Peter’s breath hitches and his shoulders fall. He wants to press his face into Happy’s back and cry. “Not some random kid,” Happy says, voice hard. “Your kid. Peter.”
OR
Tony spent five years mourning Peter after he'd been snapped. He'd invented time travel to bring him back, almost died, had risked everything for him. When Peter is snapped back to life, he can't believe that the Starks actually want him to be part of their family. He spends six months doubting it. He's finally starting to believe that they want and love him when he wakes up one morning and comes out of his room to find that Tony and Pepper don't remember him at all, even though everyone else does.

Set after Spiderman Homecoming.
After May Parker’s tragic death, Peter is left more alone then ever. It seems that the only person he really has is himself, and he’s just trying to survive. Peter’s just trying to balance his school scholarship, his part-time internship at Stark Industries, being a teen vigilante, and trying to learn how to survive all on his own.
Everything seems to be too much for the teenager, who can’t seem to ever catch a break.

Meanwhile, the Avengers are trying to hunt him down for reasons completely unknown to Peter. They have one mission: to track Spiderman down and bring him into SHIELD. They don’t realize the “threat” they’re chasing after is just a broken teenager without anyone looking out for him.
