“Okay, first of all—please, never say it like that again,” you blurted out, still recovering from your near-death experience with tea.
Zhongli arched a thick brow, looking completely unbothered. “Would you prefer ‘make love’?”

Summary
For a second she just watched the doorway to the school as families busied themselves. Moms holding the hands of children, and the occasional father tagging along. She looked at one little family, a man twice her size tying the shoes of a girl around Emilio’s age. He was wearing a mask, but the way his eyes crinkled as the girl hugged him stirred up an ache in her chest. She wondered if her father ever looked at her like that.

Reader has to work three jobs while raising her younger brother since their dad sucks, task force 141 has been raising their daughter together. Their paths cross and Reader thinks having four dads would be way better than having less than one. Maybe she's not the only one that thinks that.
