Summary
"Supergirl has been there for me - a person who judges me on the premise of my last name, but my best friend hasn't," Lena says, flatly.
"Lena, I'm... I'm sorry. I was trying to catch Lex for you," Kara says, earnestly. "That's why I'm doing this. Of course, I care about you."
"You care about me a little less than you do as the source of your story." Lena takes a sip of her scotch.
"No, no! It's not like that! I wish I could explain..." Kara nearly stomps her foot in frustration.
Lena raises an eyebrow and waits.
"But..." Kara looks down at the ground. "But maybe it's better if I just go." She turns and walks out of the room.
The sudden departure cracks Lena's heart, and she blinks back tears.

Summary
Lena decides a better fate for Lex than death is to fuck over his name and legacy by dating Supergirl. It doesn’t hurt that she also will get to mess with the lying Kara Danvers, making her the go-between her and Supergirl.
It’s not about revenge. Although there are hints of it because... she's only human.
What could go wrong? Lena is a hell of a strategic planner. She wouldn’t do something silly like falling in love with the woman she was furious at for lying to her for years…
Expect lots of sarcasm and canonical liberties & divergence. The tone was supposed to be campier than it started with so…. I’ll try to sprinkle some of that in amongst the angst.

Summary
Kara has a four year old daughter, and only recently has met Lena Luthor. Lena and Kara are not quite friends yet, more so acquittances. Kara's daughter, Alura Danvers, becomes ill, and no one can figure out what is wrong with her. This is when Kara takes a risk and asks Lena to help save her daughter. Lena accepts and soon grows attached to Alura, as well as her mother.
