“I'll do it on one condition,” Namjoon says.
Some intrigue shows on Jimin's features at Namjoon's words, gaze flicking up and down Namjoon's body in a quick once over. “What's the condition?”
“You stay for the whole night,” Namjoon says, keeping his voice firm and low. There'll be no negotiations over this. If Jimin wants his knot, then Namjoon wants an opportunity to prove himself as an alpha.
Jimin snorts, but at least it's not an outright mocking laugh. “You want to make me breakfast in the morning or something?”
“Yes,” Namjoon confirms and watches with fascination how Jimin tenses, how derision leaves his face to be replaced by confusion. “I want that. And I want to hold you, and scent you, and kiss you, and care for you like an alpha should care for an omega.”
Jimin's mouth parts, but he doesn't say anything for a moment. His dark wide eyes run around Namjoon's face, searching for who knows what.
“Okay,” Jimin says in a soft whisper. He clears his throat and lifts his chin, adding with more haughty authority, “I'll allow that.”

i am *SHOCKED* i haven’t bookmarked this one yet — i adore this fic. i found it almost two years ago (!!) and have been reading it literally every Sunday for the last two years. it’s emotional, intense, soft, cuddly, and beautifully written. the character growth feels real and the characters take brilliant steps forward in their own development while also sometimes taking heartbreaking steps back. but through and through, they’re there for each other from start to end. i think this is my favorite fic ive ever read. and everyone should read it. periodt. :)

Summary
Traditional and oppressive views of alpha/omega relations run rampant in the Korean society even in 2021. Unmated and packless Park Jimin is placed in a government programme which pairs delinquent omegas with support mates to help them better navigate their subgender. Jimin’s alpha for six months turns out to be Min Yoongi, a tiny music producer who wears fuzzy sweaters, and who won’t stop talking about his kitten Holly.
