The sky was blue, the clouds were wispy and alive, and the ground was solid underneath his feet. Yuuji made it out of hell in order to make it to a different kind of hell’s doorstep: school. More importantly, he left his clan behind in order to find sanctuary, and, you know, to no longer be muzzled like a dog. From his clan and its silent vocalizations, Yuuji managed to escape to do what he should have done from the start, as in, become a real sorcerer.
(or: yuuji gets out alive, as one of the lucky ones. he goes to look for the only other person who understands what it means to speak with a cursed tongue.)

Summary
Shen Yuan transmigrates into the kid brother of the man he'd once written an entire forum post about how his final punishment as a limbless, one-eyed, tongueless human stick should’ve also included castration. Living Shen Jiu's backstory from almost the beginning gives Shen Yuan a much different perspective on the character and he dedicates himself to being a better influence so that he can prevent the canon event that would lead to his horrible death.
It is six years later than he expects that Luo Binghe finally shows up.
