This Mike is coiled tight, attention sharpened to a point, his presence radiating outward in a way that makes people instinctively give ground. For one wild second Will considers pretending he didn’t notice. He considers staying exactly where he is, letting the moment stand.
The loud growl answers that thought before he can act on it, and he feels it blaring in his ears despite the loud music. It’s low, controlled, furious in a way that doesn’t need volume.
