Summary
At thirteen, Namjoon is a starving orphan when a chance encounter with Seokjin, the Crown Prince of Baeksan, saves him from a slow death from poverty.
At eighteen, Namjoon has spent years faithfully serving Seokjin, and what began as a friendship is on the cusp to blossoming into something more. Traveling to the Three Mountains province at the border of the kingdom seems like the perfect chance to seize the moment, but the province is not the idyllic vacation they dreamed of.
