Summary
“I’ve heard rumors of something peculiar living in their forest.”
“More peculiar than a god?”
The look Seungmin gives him is deeply serious. “Your Highness, I mean there have been sightings of the wolf gods having a human companion.”
Jisung cracks a smile. “You mean to tell me there’s someone playing wolf in the forest? Is it an alpha?”
“That’s the thing,” the beta says apprehensively. “Rumor has it that their human companion is an omega— and a feral one, at that.”
Brokering peace came natural to Jisung— an anomaly like Minho didn’t. A Princess Mononoke re-telling.

Summary
“What?” Jeongin prompts, leaning with his palm against the bar counter. “I said Minho hyung’s name, and your face got all red. Do you guys know each other?” he asks, and then— “I got a sense that was the case earlier in the firehouse. He’s not usually so relaxed around new people.”
But Jisung’s mind is stuck on one thing. “My face got all red?” he asks, subconsciously bringing a hand up to his cheek to feel the warmth of his own skin. He does feel a little hot under the collar all of a sudden, but in that moment, he chooses to blame it all on alcohol. Even though all he’s had is maybe three sips of beer.
“It did.” Jeongin grins. “So, what’s the story?”
(For a firefighter with years of experience under his belt, Jisung should probably know just how easy it is to rekindle old flames. Alas.)
