That was the unfortunate moment when his brain decided to partially start working again and a particularly bad idea hit him. Bad enough for his exhausted and careless self to pause in an unfortunately uncharacteristic moment of self-awareness. Bad enough for his stupid desperate self to consider it.
Dick can't fucking sleep. And he really can't stop thinking about Wally.
He knows that it's a bad idea, that's what makes it so appealing.
And if he wasn't meant to go see Wally then it wouldn't be so easy.

“Whoa, why are you so red?” Cassie asked when Dick came sweeping into the staff room, beelining for Wally’s locker first. It was mostly empty, except for Cassie herself, and Kon a few lockers down from her.
“I just let Wally touch my ass,” He admitted all too shakily, panic crawling over him like bugs over an abandoned picnic as he opened Wally’s locker and tucked the jacket inside.
