"He's way too young for you," Mike muttered, whipping his head away from Robin and tucking his knees up to his chin. For some reason, he thought this conversation might go a lot worse for him if he looked her in the eye. "And you took him into the woods— where he got taken, I mean, I don't even—" and he shook his head, frowning deeper. "You went against his mom's orders! Can you not even respect his parents?"
A choked noise snapped Mike back to reality. "You— what?" Robin blinked at him, her mouth hanging slack. "I respect Joyce Byers. Very much."
With Will unconscious, Mike and Robin find time for a tense chat.

Summary
It’s 1993, 4 years since Will Byers left Mike Wheeler in the dust to pursue a more fruitful life in New York City. At least, that’s how Mike sees it. He's the only party member who stayed in Hawkins after graduation, and after years of loneliness, Mike has had a lot of time to think about where he left things with his closest childhood friend. Let’s just say, he has a lot of unsaid thoughts, revelations, and apologies for Will Byers lying dormant inside his brain.
Mike wakes up one morning in his dingy dorm room on a random Saturday and impulsively decides he’s had enough of completing his miserable daily routine when he could be tracking down the person that holds the key to unlocking his deepest desires. When he makes it to NYC, he finds a building with bright lights emerging from under the door. Curiosity tugs Mike closer, and he steps into a foreign, yet welcoming, scene, surrounded by a sea of jumping, bumping, and grooving. Further inside, a familiar figure dances among the countless bodies in the club, a figure who has no idea that his blissful night is about to take a dramatic turn…

Mike goes to find Will in a gay club in NYC. What does that make you, Wheeler? Or should I say… Queerler?
