Summary
Frank grips the sides of the sink and forces himself to look in the mirror. The damage is minimal- especially when compared to what his scrub top is hiding. There’s a long cut on his brow from where the broken bottle had rebounded off the wall and caught him in the face. And a swollen purple bruise under his jaw. On their own the injuries would’ve been easy to explain; he could think of a hundred stories off the top of his head to explain them. But together, paired with the fact that he’s sure to be a little slow today, it’s harder. He’s planning on saying he fell off his bike and systematically avoid any other questions

Summary
Langdon has never been good at coping with... anything really. He was great at using work to distract himself. When he wasn't at work, then he was with his family and making the most out of that. When Robby found out he was stealing medication from the hospital, his entire world crumbles. He's lost and alone, doesn't know how to cope, doesn't know what to do except rot inside his home. When he discovers a leftover bottle of oxycodone, he promises himself it's just one pill.
AKA Langdon gets fired, does a lot of drugs, overdoses, and winds up in the care of his old coworkers. Welcome to my shit show!

Summary
This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. He’d planned it all out, hadn’t he? Practiced in front of the cracked mirror in his new single bedroom apartment. Forced his unused voice past straining vocal cords. Again, again. Until he could seem like a passable version of his former confident, if not snarky, self.
This pathetic, shaking man clutching the cold seat of a toilet in the PTMC staff bathroom had never met that person.

Or: I put all the angst tropes in a blender, smash Langdon into a wall, and force feed him the smoothie.
