Summary
David checked his apartment mailbox every day, even though it was mostly junk. On one surprising day, he found an honest-to-god paper letter half covered in stamps and stuffed haphazardly into his mailslot.
When David saw the return address, he wished the letter tore down the middle or got lost in the mail. He wished he never got out of bed that morning.
David didn’t know what else Kayleigh Day would want to say to him.

The words were slurred but clear all the same and Riko froze, his gaze locking onto Kevin, “something you’d like to share with the class?”
Kevin cowered somewhat, refusing to make eye contact, or answer the question annoyingly. Jean seemed to sense his hesitation but when he opened his mouth to offer an explanation Riko flicked his hand in dismissal.

Since he presented, Riko has been taking all manner of- probably unsafe- drugs to make himself appear as an alpha and continue to be captain of the ravens. When his secret gets out to the wrong people, the nest is no longer safe for him, or his small pack, and Riko finds himself putting his escape plan into place much earlier than anticipated

Riko’s arm is fractured, and the Moriyamas cast him out so completely it might as well be exile, leaving him without a backup, a team, or the only identity he’s ever known—Exy’s brightest star. Somehow, despite everything he’s suffered, Neil still has a bleeding heart; with persistent nudging from Jean and Kevin, he convinces the Moriyamas to leave Riko alone—at the cost of Riko forfeiting eighty percent of his future salary as a pro, should he be signed—and then talks Wymack into taking him in like the rest of his ragtag Foxes, much to Riko’s furious, biting, and thoroughly unwilling protests.

Riko lives au, pretty much. He wasn't able to get to Neil in time to try and kill him on the court so he was never punished via death for it. This follows what could potentially happen if Riko wasn’t such a raging lunatic in cannon.Bookmarked by mouse_chun0
