No, not because Soap was a douchebag. He was used to the teasing fake kisses, and winks whenever Soap knew he got under his skin.
Their fans had grasped onto that one moment for months. Gushing about their apparent secret relationship. How obviously in love (or in lust according to some tweets and fan mail) they were with each other.
It would’ve been fine, if Soap hadn’t decided to play into it.
