"You want a dog? I'll be your fucking dog. Hold the leash tight and let me prove it to you." She was flushed red, eyes wide as he was in her space, arms rested on the couch to either side of her as he leaned over her. She leaned back against the couch, breathing shallowly as it finally clicked. He was serious, gazing down at her with those piercing eyes, waiting, assessing her reaction. She reached up, lightly grasping his collar. He bent down, obedient to the lightest of tugs, swallowing thickly as she stopped when he was right above her, their lips nearly touching.
