Phoenix choked.
He tilt his head slowly. "Wait, you're still thinking about that?"
"It was unprofessional," Miles sniffed. "And absurd. I assumed you'd claim it was some slip of the tongue, but you-"
"You liked it," Phoenix said smoothly, watching him with a lazy grin.
"I didn’t."
Phoenix raised a brow. “You made a sound. You know the one.”
"I made no such-"
“ ‘Nrkh!’ ” Phoenix mimicked, high and tight in his throat. “Like someone was caught off guard and a little turned on.”

Summary
It’s not that he doesn’t want this. It’s more that he can’t fully rationalise a world in which Miles Edgeworth storms into his room, kisses him to the point of insanity, and offers a hand job to boot. Or… maybe at least the possibility of a hand job? Phoenix isn’t entirely sure where Miles is going with this. He wants to find out. He also wants to run into the storm raging outside without stopping to look back over his shoulder.

"I love when you're like this, baby," Phoenix says, followed by a sharp inhale as Miles bites down again. "Makes me wonder… if there's anything new you wanna try…" Phoenix groans, and Miles feels another firm tug on his scalp. "Anything you haven't told me about."
Over the years, it's become easier to stay out of his own head while engaging in intimacy with Phoenix, but it can be a challenge at times. Although he doesn't generally rely on it, a moderate amount of alcohol certainly helps lower his inhibitions further. It typically assures Miles won't concern himself with any sense of propriety, allowing him to focus only on what will please both Phoenix and himself.
Even so, he stills, reluctant to say what quickly comes to the forefront of his mind.
