Like that time he was discouraged in the break room and Mel had gone to cheer him up, when he'd glanced up at her from beneath his brows. She remembered the look he gave her. The way his eyes had flickered up to her face with a direct, burning stare when she sat down and began speaking. She remembered how deep and set, dark and murky, the colour of his iris’ suddenly was. The way his lips and cleft seemed to become more defined. There was simply an aura in that look that he gave her. Something intense that made a part of her clench, a certain body part quiver, and her heart skip a beat.
