Summary
Hyunjin, a talented but arrogant trainee, got eliminated from the team. Now he has to find a mini job, otherwise his parents wouldn't allow him attempting to realise his dream of becoming an idol. Even though Hyunjin knows nothing about Chemistry, applying for the job as an assistant for a university's lab was his only option. If he fails this job, his dream will be forever just a dream. Lucky him that there is a cute chemistry student who also happened to despise him. He has to find a way to get that cute student to study Chemistry with him.

Then he finally noticed the weirded out stares by his friends. They stared at him as if he was some kind of stranger.
“How do you know that?” Jeongin asked his best friend, startled.
“The better question is why he knows that,” Jisung said and leaned over the table to have a closer look at Hyunjin. He narrowed his eyes and whispered, “Are you planning on murdering him?”
Or just two days later when he and his friends went out eating ice cream and Chan wondered what sort of ice cream would be Felix’s favorite.
“Chocolate with extra crumbles. But only chocolate crumbles. He likes the color of the other crumbles but they are disgusting,” Hyunjin answered intuitively, not realizing what he just said and how smooth that knowledge sputtered out of his mouth. He just kept eating and enjoyed his ice cream. Changbin and Chan threw confused looks at him, though.

Summary
While Hyunjin isn’t looking, Felix writes his number on the receipt, folding it up and sticking it inside the book before handing it over. Their fingers brush when Hyunjin grabs it, and his smile widens, thanking Felix in the softest voice.
When Hyunjin disappears back out the door, Felix tilts his head back with a sigh. His heart is fluttering in his chest. It reminds him of a feeling he has read about countless times. Racing heart, sweaty palms, dry mouth, an inexplicable need to be close to someone.
“You gave him your number?” Minho says.
“Was it too forward?” Felix asks, a sudden pit forming in his gut.
“He comes to the city’s most expensive bookstore every week and buys the first book you recommend, having always finished it and – loved it –” He imitates Hyunjin’s voice, “so, no, not too forward, but what’s the point?”---
In a world where everyone dreams of their past lives and soulmates find each other in every life, Felix doesn’t know what it’s like to dream, and he has been alone for a long time.
