Summary
The room is illuminated only by the bedside lamp Fourth doesn’t remember leaving on. Lying in the middle of his bed is someone with their back turned toward the door, curled up on themselves. As Fourth approaches, the smell gets stronger, sweeter, invading his entire being and capturing him in a daze. He stands there for a while, just watching the stranger, trying to see if they would move. The stranger seems so comfortable in his bed, so comfortable that he starts to purr.
Fourth freezes in his tracks.
