The afternoon had been a hectic one. Downpour and flooding, thankfully, no one had gotten seriously injured, Rutile slept soundly in the next room; wood cracked within fireplace, offering a lovely tune to accompany the pouring rain. Tonight, his clinic serves as a sleepover. A jingle at door sees him getting up and putting practiced smile to use:
“Coming, coming! What can Dr. Figaro do for …” Hospitality reserved for people nurtured and raised fades to a chilling disconnect; albeit dressed differently than he remembers, there’s no way he’d forget the man now standing in his doorway. Looking as reluctant as Figaro feels. Not wanting to watch rainwater and dirt trickle inside more than it has, he encourages Oz to get inside already and make certain the door is locked. Seems his afternoon is about to get more hectic than he bargained for. The taller wizard hardly has his first foot through the door before Figaro’s resuming what he suspects will be a largely one-sided conversation. “Why are you here?”
“Return to the North.”

Summary
Anaxagoras is a relatively popular and well known tattoo artist at "The Grove", due to his skill in traditional stick-and-poke tattoos. His clientele is kept relatively limited since there are rumors about him being "hard to work with " and "short tempered" with some clients. In reality, he keeps his clientele limited so that he has more time to spent with his daughter from a previous relationship. One day he receives a new prospective client. A younger man who has never gotten a tattoo before. He considers turning him away, but he can't help but be curious about someone bold enough to try and book his services for their first tattoo.
One thing leads to another and they end up having a one night stand together. So, it's just Anaxa's luck that Phainon turns out to be his daughter's school teacher.

Summary
Anaxa and Khaslana were known to be soulmates among the Chrysos Heirs. Even as the immortal dragonkin watched his lover go through rebirth after rebirth, they were always brought back together, just as all the heirs eventually were. Yet, after thousands of years of loss and grief, Khaslana (Or another rebirthed version of him...) proposes an idea to Anaxa. "Use my blood and body to hold back the black tide so that we no longer have to suffer through these cycles." Anaxa is not convinced easily, yet he would do anything for his beloved. It was meant to end the cycles and for hundreds of years it did; The black tide disappeared and he was one of two remaining heirs to survive.
So why, one day, did a boy with a striking resemblance to Khaslana find his way into his hideaway?
