a beautiful story about growing up and out of your small town, choosing happiness, and love
upon reread: i just cherish this fic. the marcie+schroeder friendship, the tenderness, the witty dialogue that feels like the natural progression from those og peanuts convos. linus is a fuckup, lucys personality is phenomenal, and there's just so much bravery, growth, and loveliness here. the domestic ending is perfect. the children! tacky and in-love charlie brown. pine crest and old snoopy. butch marcie and scared patty. fuck. i love this.
