Summary
As the party were all leaving the basement to go upstairs for dinner, Mike stopped Will for a moment. A brief interruption to ask him to stay a little longer so they could talk after having lasagna? He wanted to know... Something.
Even though they'd spent time together after everything ended, Mike felt there was something unresolved between them, and he always wanted to fix it, but he was never able to do so until he saw that they were both going to grow up and drift apart at some point. He couldn't just let him go like that. Will nodded, even when he looked a little hestitan to do so.

Summary
Mike watched the scene unfold with a soft grin growing on his face, but before he could join in his younger son twisted in Will's hold, spotting Mike and pointing an accusatory finger with a dramatic pout. "Daddy Mike had you all day! That's not fair. He betrayed me." He declared as he wriggled free from Will to launch himself at Mike next, his tiny fists pounding lightly on his chest in mock battle.
Mike caught him easily and in no time he was hoisting him up onto his hip with effortless strength, ruffling the boy's hair while chuckling at the feigned outrage.
"Hey, what? Betrayed? I shared him with you every other day. Give me a break, my boy." Mike teased, his voice warm and light, but the underlying fondness made his eyes crinkle at the corners.

"And." Michael finished with a little kiss on top of Will's hand, letting it go gently afterwards. "I will always choose you. Every time, in every lifetime."
"Oh, God." Will covered his mouth, shaking his head after he tried to stop the tears. "That's— that's enough." He whispered. "Thank you."
Michael’s voice softened further. "You deserve to hear that from him." He said, his hand tucking a lock of hair behind Will's ear. "And one day, you will."

She says softly, placing a hand on Will's shoulder.
"I know, Will. I know. About how you feel, and I know he feels the same, to you."
Eleven seems to see that Will understands what she means as she didn't want the rest of the party to be aware of something they hasn't figured out yet, but she knew when his eyes remain wide with surprise, but a slight blush accompanies his moist cheeks. She smiles again.
"But he has to be the one to tell you. Bring him here, Will. He needs you."

Mike never had many friends. He was always the loser who sat alone at his own lunch table, or was the last to partner up in gym class.
It didn’t particularly bother him, not until that moment in time, as he looked out the window and watched the trees blur together in one green smudge on a canvas. He tuned out his parents, who chatted idly as they drove further and further away from Hawkins.
It was then and there, that Mike Wheeler made the executive decision to change.

Halting his blubbing, Mike blinks his eyes back open and allows for his vision to adjust to the unreasonably bright light that’s still surrounding him. His head lolls to the side, vision still coming in and out of focus as he tries to take in the image in front of him, blocking out all of his other senses.
Mike squints and… Oh.
Okay—why is God the dictionary definition of the word 'gorgeous'?
OR: Upon getting his wisdom teeth removed, Mike Wheeler doesn't remember much of anything—including Will Byers, and the fact that they're married to each other. He still feels all the love and adoration he has for the man, though... so he can't be blamed if it all comes spilling out of him in one way or another.

Mike glances over at him automatically.
Will laughs. “See? That’s exactly what I mean. You’ve been doing it for years, but now it’s like…it’s a lot, Mike. People are gonna notice.”
“But I wanna kiss you,” Mike whines.
It’s been a week since Mike and Will got together – one blissful week, like a honeymoon before the wedding. Now they’re in Montauk for Joyce and Hopper’s, surrounded by friends and family, and trying to fly under the radar. Somewhere along the way, Mike realizes he doesn’t want to hide anymore.
Or, two horny idiots in love struggle to keep their relationship hidden.
