Summary
Sirius Black is a rich snob. Remus Lupin works two minimum wage jobs to make ends meet. When they cross paths at the restaurant where Remus works as a waiter, it does not go well.
But then Sirius is disowned and disinherited after coming out as gay and he is forced to get a job at the same restaurant where Remus works. Then, life happens.

He has resigned himself to the belief that he is better off alone because, in his experience, his chronic illness is too heavy a burden on everyone around him.
