ivan turns a bit too much and his feet lose balance on the stepladder and he begins to fall. he’s expecting to hit the floor with a hard thud, expecting his body to hurt and ache.
what he doesn’t expect is for till to gracefully catch him, arms circled around his waist and the small of his back, bringing ivan just a few centimeters away from crashing into till.
a familiar tension settles around them. cherry red pupils meet sea-green irises, and magic is cast between the two beings once again. ivan can hardly believe how elated he feels right now.
