Summary
“I don’t know if I could escape again,” Grian confesses, and Mumbo says-
“What if someone could find you?”
“What?”
Grian pulls away, and finally, this is something Mumbo can do with his hands. He leans back to look at him, eyebrows furrowing, and Mumbo rests his palms on Grian’s arms, holding him in place. “If you’re taken,” he says. “Would it be comforting to know that someone could find you?”
Grian laughs, and it’s not a good one, either, but it’s measures better than the hysterical one he’d let out earlier. “Mumbo, what?” he asks again. “I- I appreciate it, I do, but compasses are server-wide. They can’t even handle the Nether.” It’s not quite snarked but said with just enough of an 'I thought you knew this' tone that at any other time, it would be a hit to Mumbo’s redstoning ego.
“No, not a compass,” he dismisses. “You know, marriage. A spouse could find you anywhere. The whole… soul-bond thing.”
Okay, so he’s a redstoner, not a scientist.
Or: Grian has an issue. Mumbo proposes an... unconventional solution. There's no possible way marrying one another could go wrong.

Summary
It's been a little over four years after Sunny told the truth to his friends before moving away. The only one he's been in contact with all this time is Basil. After much work, Sunny is finally able to take a new step. With the support of his mother along the way, he applied and succesfully got into the art college in a nearby city. His mother helps him rent a small appartment there and so starts his new college life.

Ts fic was my obsession for 6 months straight I’m not joking 😭 Downloaded it on every device.. Reread it what 3 times already now? 4? I’ve lost track lmao
So well written and everyone is explored with a lot of depth & holy shit the romance(s)/fluff is so cute & Ow the angst in this fic hurts a lot… there’s two specific chapters that make me cry without fail each time
the OC’s are really well written and natural too I kinda forgot they were OC’s like 10 chapters in lmao, don’t let them drive you away from reading this masterpiece c:
(Btw canon x oc only starts happening like. 200k words into the fic + it’s well written too and SUPER adorable imo, don’t let that tag you deter you either!)100% recommend even if you don’t like Suntan that much,, I’m personally a sunflower truther (don’t really seek out suntan content ngl) but I gotta admit this fic is just superior & absolutely the best I’ve read in the OMORI fandom.
